2018 Season

IAME Cadet

Ella made the step up to the IAME Cadet class for a complete campaign in the 2018 Little Green Man (LGM) IAME Cadet National Championship as well as the British Super One Series.

The LGM Championship is one of the most competitive championships in the UK and the most populated Cadet Championship in the country!
It was her first season racing in these championships, and at this level.

Over 53 drivers competed for the LGM championship - and there was a seperate championship for Privateers (those not running in a team). Ella became the 2018 Privateer Champion and finished 16th overall in the series, a great achievement for her first season racing at this level.

2017 Season

BirelART UK Cadet

Ella made the jump into the BirelART UK Series - formerly known as the Easykart Championship.

All drivers are provided one chassis and one engine at the start of the season - with all equipment designed to be on a level playing field.
This unique championship put the emphasis on driver skill and setup.

The 8 round championship visited all corners of the UK; from Glan-Y-Gors Park in North Wales, all the way to Buckmore Park in Kent - alongside six other rounds in the Midlands, North and South of the country.

Ella emerged victorious after building up a strong championship lead before the finale at Whilton Mill, meaning her 5th place finish in the Pre-Final was enough to be crowned champion.

With the pressure off, she cemented home her championship status with a win in the final, capping off a great season!

2016 Season

Cadets

2016 was Ella’s first year in the Cadet category. She competed at several club meetings at tracks like Shenington, Rissington and Whilton Mill.

This was also her first year in the BirelART UK Cadet class. A unique championship where all drivers use the same brand of kart and engine - leaving most of the achievement down to the driver's skill and kart setup.

Ella developed very quickly and gained speed as the season went on, as she finished a very credible12th in the Championship in her maiden season.

At the end of the year, Ella was already being named as one of the favourites for the 2017 BirelART UK Cadet Championship - after impressing on-lookers as the season went on.

The aim was set for an overall shot at the championship in 2017, as Ella committed to a second season in the category.

2013-2015 Season

Bambino

Ella first started karting in 2013, in the Bambino Class. After learning the ropes, developing her racecraft, she then moved onto doing a few competitive races in the Bambino class.

Ella competed in the Bambino Championship in 2014, finishing in 8th place overall in her first full season of kart racing.

2015 saw Ella compete in the championship once again. She was a regular podium finisher in the class, setting times right at the sharp end in every round - on her way to taking 5th overall in the championship.

After the end of the 2015 season, the decision was made to move up a category and into the Cadet class, for 8-12 year olds, as Ella embarked on the next stage of her young racing career.
